Touhou Discussion as it says, anything related to the game or the characters themselves.

You know that feeling you get when your eyes are burning in certain spots and they become
terribly bloodshot from playing Touhou for 12 hours a day. This pretty much sums up my
week, I usually just remedy it for 5 minutes by closing my eyes for 10 seconds.

Yesterday I finally 1cc'd subterranean animism on hard for the first time in a while. I had actually done it twice just before the successful attempt but both of those times I died to one of okuu's remaining bullets after she had already been slain. You can imagine my rage at the time.

A couple of days ago I had a dream in which I was flandre scarlet, or at least observing from her point of view. Hong, Sakuya, Patchouli, and myself
went to a university library that was massive but modern, I'm certain this was in the outside world because of this. The library had multiple stories
with 2 large ascending staircases to the left and right and elevators all around. The entrance is really where the dream began, all of us sat down on
one of the lobby couches while Sakuya (maybe patchouli since it makes more sense) went to go complete her errand so we could go do whatever
else we had to do. Seeing as how I am flandre scarlet in this scenario, I was extremely bored and annoyed that I had to be lugged to these places
just to do nothing. After sitting quietly for a while slumping back in forth in my seat, I got up and ran up the right staircase smiling with childlike
wonder. Meiling was quickly behind me and yelling for me to come back, afraid she would get into trouble for letting me do potential mischief. From
then, it became a game of chase and hide and seek in my eyes. I ran from room to room hiding from Hong and always narrowly escaped before she
could subdue me, just for me to run and hide in another room. Eventually I was caught after trying to hide myself behind a very large byobu as the
byobu fell and crumbled on top of me just as Hong had made it into the entrance of the room, I laughed out of embarrassment. I remember the room
being a very lightly colored sun-lit room, but there were no books or anything so my first thought is maybe a storage room.
This is where my dream ended.


I had been playing a lot of touhou before this dream happened which I find to be the cause. I really liked the dream and I would like to see it animated
to show the amount of detail I couldn't describe.

I would like to replace all the sprites in one of the games with yukkuri versions, it's possible that it's been done before.

I've always SUCKED at this game. I finished IN once in easy and that's all

I recently completed Story of Eastern Wonderland on normal with liberal continue and bomb use. For some reason the pixel art, SC-86 Pro midi sound and noir atmosphere of the PC98 titles appeals to me a lot more than what i remember from EoSD, when i got it working on wine for a while.TH02 might also have been a lot easier for me, because you can completely dodge a lot of bullet patterns, instead of needing to navigate curtains upon curtains of moving dots.

Ive 1cced IN normal mode ONCE. I really love MoF but have yet to beat it on normal, i can 1 cc up to Kanako and then get my shit pushed in. Still think IN has the best soundtrack *cracks open a can of monster ultra* ah-yup

In a half-awake dream last night I thought I kicked futo's hat off and heard it hit the ground. I awoke to find a empty gray tinted bottle on the ground.

I just had a terrifying nightmare just now regarding sakuya and her brutally sadistic murders.

I was just playing SA, and I have 7 lives when I enter stage 5 and I lose all but the one I'm playing on to Orin.
I was about to exit the game just because of that, but I was wondering how far I could make it against Utsuho
