If you have a source of income, find a good hobby like creating things or mecha figures. I think that's what keep a lot of the Japanese hikikomoris from going more insane.

you shouldn't think whether to go to a college or get a job
rather choose a profession
think - what is something that you would like to do workwise, ask yourself if you need college for that
if you only want to go to college because you subconsciously need that stamp of approval, then you are probably better off spending that time in a more creatively or personally productive way and working on yourself to where you don't require it
but if you think that going to college will help your personal growth, do it

assuming you're american idk how shit works in other countries

I suggest getting a job at somewhere cool like a record store or something that you can practice a hobby at. It may be necessary to develop the hobby first if you don't have one that would fit a local store.
