Why? I'm embarrassed at being academic focused. I need to be less academic because it feels like I'm being brainwashed into a cult of ivory tower snobs. It would be cool to have publication sure but it would be cool to have places to publish ideas or cool thoughts that aren't weighed down by university bullshit.
