Photographic memories (4)

Throughout my life, I've noticed that I remember things a lot better than other people. I tend to have a
good habit of remembering every useless and useful detail about whatever it is, while others either forget
entirely or remember it so poorly that they unintentionally alter the details when they retell it. It's
usually never anything important, but it is a peeve of mine when someone tries to recite something funny
we both heard, and it is way off and less funny. Maybe I'm meant to be one of those old wise men who pass
stories down to each generation through oral tradition.

Is this a problem with anyone else?

I mean, I don't have photographic memory, but I do feel frustrated whenever I KNOW I'm misremembering details. I can almost always tell when I'm misremembering details, just because instinctually I detect that the logic doesn't check out for the series of events. It's dreadful.

You are one of the people I loathe in a conversation.

Yeah well it's mutual pal. I hate myself just as much as you hate me.
