pretty much every imageboard (and a few non-image boards) gets hit by it
some sites have a lot of staff and can fuck that bitch ASAP
but a lot (like this one) don't

I think I heard of a site that edited their board software to follow shortened links (since the endpoint is generally the same) and see where the redirect is to auto ban the bot
can't find the page with the details right now...

although banning shortened links in general could be a slightly unreasonable but maybe effective tactic lol
