I noticed something very cool last night. I got up out of bed to rearrange my blanket and sheets, when I started noticing a strange light coming from nowhere out of the pitch black darkness. I eventually realized it was the static electricity making light from shaking the sheet. It was like shooting lightning from my fingers.
When I was a kid that didn't live in the humid south, I was able to get huge bolts of static by taking off my sweater in the car in the winter. Pretty much 0% humidity with the car heater on, and I had a big head of hair to build up charge with.
